| NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2025 immediately following the completion | ||||||
| of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 budget, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, a | ||||||
| SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS called pursuant to Section 60.12 (1)(a) of the Wis. Statues by the | ||||||
| Town Board for the following purposes will be held: | ||||||
| Question of authorization and final approval: May the Town Board use unused levy limit capacity, as determined | ||||||
| by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue in the amount of $104? | ||||||
| 1. To adopt the 2026 town tax levy to be collected in 2027 pursuant to Section 60(1)(a) of Wis. Statues. | ||||||
| 2. To approve year 2026 highway expenditures pursuant to Section 81.01 (3) of Wis. Statues. | ||||||
| Immediately following the completion of the Special Town Meeting of the Electores, a Town Board Meeting | ||||||
| will be held to discuss and adopt the year 2026 Budget for the Town of Amherst. | ||||||
